Your privacy is important to me. I am not a company, just an individual who will reply to your appointment and consultation requests, plus perhaps relevant updates every now and again.
To do that, I need you to supply some data.
Please read the below carefully and if you are not sure about anything, please just get in touch.
I am not a registered business, just an individual, but nonetheless, I play by data protection rules. HarryJohal.coach is my website and I’m a guy called Harry Johal who lives in Partick, Glasgow. You can get in touch via Contact Me.
In order to send you updates and newsletter, I ask you to supply the following:
First Name
Last Name
Email Address
I do this via the Contact Me form.
Well, to keep in touch, obviously ;-) At least until you don’t want to hear from me any more, which you can request directly at any time or by UNSUBSCRIBING via the link at the bottom of any email I send you.
This contact could be for any of the following reasons:
to respond to your request for an appointment or consultation
to let you know about any changes or updates to my services
give you opportunities to tell me what you think about my services or want me to offer
I may carry out a wee poll or survey every now and again
other stuff that is ONLY relevant to the content on HarryJohal.coach
It went live June 2019, updated March 2022, comprising original content, created and published by me, Harry Johal, unless otherwise noted.
When you voluntarily contact me, you are giving me CONSENT to contact you, this is one of six possible legal grounds under GDPR regulations.
I don’t, I only use it to provide the stuff listed in “How do I use personal information?”
I use Google and Squarespace to manage my site and communications, both US companies who provide services to many thousands of businesses in the UK and other countries governed by GDPR regulation.
As an individual, I rely on these companies to safely store both my own and your data, much like we do when we sign up to any other large website or social media platform.
They have to ensure they look after our data safely, securely and don’t use it inappropriately.
I will keep your data for as long as you continue to be interested in or use my services. You can ask me to remove your details at ANY time by requesting directly or by UNSUBSCRIBING via the link at the bottom of any email I send you.
At any time, you can ask me to confirm what data I hold on you, correct or delete it. You can also withdraw your consent, which basically means the same thing as deleting your data, which you can request in the same way. If I ignore you, or abuse your data in any way, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Thanks
Harry
